Ostuni is the place where gleaming, whitewashed buildings cascade over the side of its hilltop perch. On the very top of the hill is located the beautiful Flamboyant stylished Cathedral.
The narrow and winding medieval historical centre perched atop a hill overlooking the sea offers fantastic views from each home.
Ostuni is famous for its splendid hundred years old olive trees and typical farms called “Masserie” largely present on its territory. This area is also famous for extra virgin olive oil production and for the presence of many underground oil mills dated back to the Roman period.
