The name of this locality derives from the rounded shape of its beautiful historic centre. Locorotondo is caracterized by the curious “cummerse”, narrow houses brandshining pointed gable roofs. Locorotondo historic centre features stone staircases, balconies draped with flowers and quaint parks. Locorotondo is also famous for the production of “Bianco di Locorotondo” wine made with native grapes.
